This charming establishment is nestled in the heart of downtown, conveniently located within a short walk of a world-class wine tasting experience and an array of delectable restaurants. The ambiance is undeniably inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind and savor the exquisite wines of Paso Robles. We had the pleasure of staying in a room with a balcony, which offered a breathtaking view, allowing us to relish the pleasant weather and indulge in the exceptional wines that the region has to offer.

Beautiful property and well-appointed rooms. Very clean, too! Was asked prior to check-in if I would like the sleeper sofa prepared. Yet, when I entered the room, there was no sofa — sleeper or otherwise. No big deal since I was traveling solo but makes me wonder if they placed me in the wrong room. They also asked prior to check-in if I would like to be contacted via email or text. Got a confirmation from them of my response one full day AFTER checking out. Lastly, it took f o r e v e r for hot water to arrive at the bathroom sinks and shower. So wasteful waiting for the hot water. Lobby staff and restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed being within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

High quality spacious rooms with beautiful decoration. Beautiful garden area with fire pits, pool, and Jacuzzi. Nice restaurant on site, also serving breakfast. Located downtown - you can walk to a lot of shops and restaurants.

This historic hotel is located in the city center, and within walking distance to fine dining, casual dining & coffee spots. The grounds are beautifully maintained & there’s koi ponds, 2 fire pits and a fenced pool-jacuzzi area, with cabanas & chase lounges. The room bathroom with shower ( no tub) was very nice. The cons: you can be subject to noise from adjacent guests. (otherwise, the town is quiet, even at night) The room air/heating system is confusing (my partner is an engineer, and he was stumped by the control panel) no instructions were provided on adjusting the room heat or coolness. We heard a ‘mechanical ‘ noise all night, which disturbed our sleep. I’m used to having more towels in the bathroom- there was only 2 sets of towels provided.

My wife and I stayed in garden king room the weekend of 2/13/26. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot with good pressure. We appreciated the robes and slippers. The keurig coffee maker was appreciated also. The grounds/pool/jacuzzi were all great. There were also some ponds with koi fish and fire pits and outdoor games. The location is across from park and in downtown area. The staff were all very good from the check in to the restaurant. We had been before and will definitely be back. There is also EV charging available onsite and nearby. We did a wine tasting tour with grapeline tours and they picked us up at the inn. We recommend them also.

My wife got a great deal through her teacher online savings portal and the whole experience was fantastic! This place is next to the square downtown but is tranquil, relaxing, and beautiful! There is a small pool and hot tub, hourly bike rentals (uses an app), both steak and coffee houses on premises and a bar above the steakhouse. While there is no on-site fitness facility, the inn contracts with the nearby (~1.5 miles away) Kennedy fitness center and provides passes upon request at the front desk (bring a towel and combo lock if desired to the fitness center, they aren’t provided free). Each room has an AC / heater split unit which functions very well, and there is ample free self parking or valet parking if desired. There is complimentary wine tasting from 4-5 pm (daily, I believe, at The Piccolo, which is also on site). Great experience, I will definitely try to book here again when we come.

Great place to stay if your visiting Paso Robels or exploring the central coastline along the reopened PCH California Hwy 1. Great steakhouse restaurant good food courteous service. Stayed in the garden section of the property very quiet at night the trees have lights that make for a great vibe around the fire rings.
